About
When we realize it’s time to think seriously about retiring…
That’s when the questions start:
How soon can I retire and still have a fun, comfortable lifestyle?
When is the best time to start taking my social security?
What happens when I start dipping into my investments?
What am I missing about minimizing my taxes after retiring?
How do I structure my estate so my heirs get what I want them to?
Where can I find a financial planner instead of a product salesman?
I answer your retirement questions in black and white, and…
…help you plan for success
If you’ve ever felt like an assembly line item on a financial planning firm’s desk, you’re not alone.
It takes years of hard work to build up your assets and savings. As a former software engineer… I know from personal experience.
Yet, some financial planning firms still treat their clients like a number instead of a person.
But that’s the opposite of how we like to operate.
That’s why we:
We keep our client base small to maintain a high service quality, and sign new clients on a case-by-case basis.
Meet Shannon Lunsford
CFP®, EA
Shannon got his start in financial planning in 2003, when he took the CFP® course on a whim after organizing his family’s estate on his own.
He’d been a software engineer for the previous 20 years, and found that his technical skill set carried over well to investing and wealth management.
The result is the formation of Lunsford Financial Planning.
His clients value the comfort and security of making financial decisions based on solid, statistical data.
Having owned a software consulting firm, and been awarded patents for his work, he values hard work and determination… but believes it’s important to have fun along the way.
Shannon spends his free time traveling and developing his acreage in Hawaii.
